Sad the holidays are over?  No sweat.  There's plenty to celebrate in January!  No guarantee you'll get the day off, though.  And if you DO...we must trade jobs immediately.

 

1. January 3: J.R.R. Tolkien Day.  Celebrate the dude who wrote those long ass Lord Of The Rings books.  

2. January 7: National Tempura Day.  Who doesn't love tempura vegetables?  Tasty business. 

3. January 8: Bubble Bath Day.  Everyone loves a bath.  Everyone. 

4. January 9: Balloon Ascension Day.  No hot air balloons?  Just buy a cheap one at Bartz's and let it fly.  

5. January 14: Dress Up Your Pet Day.  Maybe you should pass on this one...

6. January 16: Appreciate a Dragon Day.  Imagine Dragons, maybe?  My dragon ran away, and this is a sensative subject matter for me.  

7. January 19: Popcorn Day.  As long as its followed by "Dental Floss Day", I'm cool with this. 

8. January 21: National Hugging Day.  Bring it in here for the real thing, big fella. 

9. January 22: Answer Your Cat's Questions Day.   Simple, all your cat ever wants to know it "when are you going to die, so I can eat your face?"

10. January 30: Inane Voicemail Message Day.  I will change my voicemail to be ridiculous on this day.  Just you wait.
