Remember that last blog I posted about the waiter sticking up for the special needs kid? Yeah... that's a story that made you feel pretty good about humanity.
This story brings us right back down to Earth.
The rundown goes as follows:
- Boy meets girl
- Boy and girl get married
- Boy and girl decide to get divorced and hire attourneys
The story sounds pretty standard so far, but here's where things go off the rails:
- Girl starts schtoopin' her divorce lawyer
- Divorce lawyer charges girl for the time they were schtoopin'
You can't make stuff like this up.
After a few arguments, Thomas Lowe (the lawyer in question) stopped representing the aforementioned client, and was suspended from practicing law. Read more here.
