Some people will do anything for some good luck.  They'll hang a dead animal's foot on their keychain, they'll avoid the number 13.  And New England Patriots offensive lineman Donald Thomas collects rubber ducks.  He says the 50 duck collection stays in his locker at Gillette stadium, and before every game he lines them up and he says it brings him good luck.

He'll be bringing a small part of the collection with him to the Super Bowl this weekend for some much needed good luck.  Is there anything that you collect, carry, do, or say that brings YOU good luck? Let me know in the comments!

Looks like the politicians aren't the only ones slinging some mud around these days.  In an epic American Idol Vs. The Voice battle, Randy Jackson has called The Voice "A second-chance place... people that don't get in someplace else go to The Voice".  Well one of the coaches on The Voice, Maroon 5 singer Adam Levine fired back saying that Randy should be ashamed of what he said, and mentioned that sometimes in Hollywood "people need more then one chance" and that The Voice was the kind of show where they could have one more shot.  I say there's only one way this can be settled, and it seems pretty obvious... dance off!  Pic Via Gashleygoh

And in restraining order news, Mila Kunis may have need to change her phone number.  Or at the very least, think twice about accepting invitations to formal dances via internet videos.  Here's the latest one from Galveston, Texas asking Mila to be a date to his high school prom.  And there's totally NOTHING creepy about this video at all.  Promise!

I've heard of people doing an internet search on perspective dating partners prior to a first date.  And I'm sure it's not uncommon for some mutual Facebook stalking to occur before a face to face meeting.  But this might be a bit much...

I read an article yesterday that said more and more women are credit checking men before taking their relationships to the next level beyond surface platonic dating.  Now I suppose with the availability of credit checking websites these days, it's not suprising to hear.  And I know that in a tough economy, we all have to make some schrewd financial decisions... but this just seems a bit overboard in my book.

Yesterday, Snooki squashed the rumors that she was expecting a little bundle of fist-pumping joy.  A TMZ reported asked if she was pregnant, to which Snooki replied "No! I want to get married first." and then yelled at the reporter for suggesting she was fat.

In other 'Shore' related news, the supposed spin-off starring Snooki and J-Woww has been set back after the mayor of Hoboken, New Jersey has said she turned down a request from MTV to shoot in the town.  Pic Via Getty

And in sadder news, Soul Train host Don Cornelius was found dead in his home yesterday.  TMZ is claiming that the death was from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Nobody's sure where it came from, nobody knows who took it.  The only thing for sure, is when you see it, you'll poop your pants...

Looks like everyone is playing nice over Paula Abdul's "departure" from The X Factor.  Paula issued a statement that said "Yes, it's true; I won't be returning to The X Factor next season.  I've learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions oftentimes override personal considerations...  Simon is, and wil remain a dear friend of mine and I've treasured my experience..."  In a similar statement, Simon said he counts Paula as "a very close friend" and says that he expects to be working with her on another project in the near future.  And no one still seems to care that the host Steve is gone... Kendall Stewardson a woman from Des Moines, Iowa has given birth to a baby boy weighing a knee shaking 13lbs 13oz and 23.5inches long. Kendall endured her six hours of labour without any surgery.

Kendall said she and her husband Joshua wanted to avoid Caesarean delivery because that would not have been good for her or the little line backer.

According to the Guiness World Records, the heaviest baby born weighed in at 22lbs 8oz. It was recorded in September 1955 in Aversa, Italy. And that's nothing to shake a rattle at.

Thanks go out Sir Elton John for dropping some "friendly" advice for Madonna's upcoming performance at The Super Bowl. It's nice to see him put their differences aside and wishing her the best performance possible. And if you can't tell I'm being sarcastic, watch the video down below.

Besides Madonna, who else would you like to see perform at The Super Bowl Half-time show? Honestly may favorite was Prince back in 2007. So I'm good.
